501c (3) Status
	December 04, 2007 We are currently putting the papers together for 501c3 exempt status. This is a horrible process and I advise that if you do have to go through it, pay someone else to do it! In addition to filing with the IRS we also are incorporating as a public benefit through the Oregon Department of Justice. If anyone has helpful information please pass it on!

MacKenzie Kilts

December 04, 2007 The band has chosen the MacKenzie tartan and have ordered 15 kilts! The MacKenzie has ties to the Eugene due to the McKenzie river that runs through the area. The colors in the tartan relate to the fire service. Green for Ireland, Red for fire, Blue for the ranks of firefighters, White for the chiefs, and Black for our fallen. The MacKenzie is also worn by TVFR and the Eugene Highlanders. The MacKenzie clan motto fits firefighters to a "T" : In latin, "We shine not burn"

Wallace Pipes
	Wednesday, October 10, 2007  We just got our shipment of eight Wallace bagpipes. Wallace is a fairly new name on the west coast but these things are sick!!!! We absolutely love 'em. Beautiful design. Quality craftmanship and bead work... just really nice. Look them up on the net if you get a chance. As for Eugene Fire.... Two thumbs up!

Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Pipes and Drums

September 20, 2007 TVFR Tualitan Valley Fire and Rescue Pipes and Drums have been a huge help in getting this band up and playing. It wouldn't be right if we didn't take time to thank Tim Birr and Tommy, for their selflessness and commitment to the brotherhood. TVFR just donated a bass drum! These guys are just awesome.
